How To Use
- For rectal application? In anal and rectal surgery, introduce a dry anal tampon with the help of a proctoscope at the end of the surgical procedure.
- Place dry gauze in the rima natis. The buttocks must be held together by means of a T bandage.
- Bacterial invasion ensures the rapid dissolution of the sponge which softens and is spontaneously removed by defecation.
- The SURGISPON® Tampon is provided with an opening into which a flatus drain can be introduced.
After performing excision of hemorrhoidal piles , the operation is terminated by placing hemo- static absorbable gelatin sponge tampon in the anal canal.
